Trust isn’t a tagline. It’s the product.
We built YourPilot in a country where trust in driver hiring has been broken for decades. Here is how we’re repairing it, layer by layer.
Every pilot is verified before their first ride.
Aadhaar via Digio
Government-grade KYC verification through Digio — the same provider used by leading Indian fintechs.
PAN cross-check
PAN verified against name and date of birth from Aadhaar.
LMV licence + 3-year rule
Only pilots with a valid LMV licence held for at least 3 years are onboarded.
Police verification on file
Pilots submit a police verification certificate before their first ride.
If something goes wrong, help is one tap away.
SOS button
One-tap emergency button in every ride. Connects to our 24×7 safety desk and your emergency contacts.
Live trip share
Share a live link with anyone. They see your pilot, route, ETA, and vehicle in real time.
Anomaly detection
Unusual stops, off-route detours, and excessive idle time are flagged automatically.
24×7 safety desk
A real human picks up. Always. We escalate to local authorities when the situation demands it.
Your personal data stays personal.
Masked calls via Exotel
Pilot and rider call through a relayed number. Personal phone numbers are never exchanged.
No PII to pilots
Pilots see your first name and pickup point. Address details only on the active ride, then redacted.
DPDP-aligned
Data handling complies with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Engineered like a financial system, because trust starts here.
AWS Mumbai region
All customer and pilot data is stored in AWS’s Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Nothing leaves India.
Encrypted at rest and in transit
AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Keys rotated on schedule via AWS KMS.
Role-based access
Internal access is least-privilege, audited, and logged. No team member has standing access to customer data.
Coverage details are confirmed at booking.
Every ride is covered by third-party liability insurance for the pilot’s actions. Full coverage particulars — insurer, policy number, and claim process — are made visible to the rider at the booking-confirmation step.
